Lu Chao

President of Nanchang Hangkong University, is a professor and doctoral supervisor. He is the chief scientist of the National Key Research and Development Program, a leading figure in major academic disciplines and technologies in Jiangxi Province, an excellent graduate supervisor in Jiangxi Province, a vice chairman of the Nondestructive Testing Branch of the China Mechanical Engineering Society, and a member of the Instrument Science and Technology Teaching Committee of the China Mechanical Industry Education Association. He has presided over more than 40 projects, including the National Key Research and Development Program, major projects of national laboratories, National Natural Science Foundation of China, national defense technology foundation, key projects of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, key projects of the Aerospace Innovation Fund, aviation science fund, key research and development projects of Jiangxi Province, key projects of Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation, construction projects of Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Basic Condition Platform, national defense technological transformation, and horizontal projects commissioned by enterprises. He has published more than 160 papers in domestic and international academic journals and conferences such as Aerosp Sci Technol, Compos Struct, Ndt&e Int, J Nondestruct Eval, Nondestruct Test Eva, Journal of Mechanical Engineering, Journal of Aeronautics, Journal of Instrumentation, and Journal of Acoustics. Among them, 96 papers have been indexed by SCI/EI. He has been granted 12 invention patents, published 2 monographs, and participated in the formulation of 3 national standards and national mechanical industry standards. In 2008, he won the first prize of Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievements. In 2014, he won the second prize of Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievements (at the graduate level). In 2019, he won the first prize of China's Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Achievements. In 2020, he won the first prize of Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
